On a deceptively warm afternoon of an otherwise pleasant summer day, the group of 12 runners continued on towards their goals of destiny. Vasu Duzhiy crept within 3.85 miles of the lead(7 laps) with a very strong 64.7 miles. Ashprihanal Aalto ran 62.01 miles to remain solid in third place. Pranjal Milovnik remains ever-steady in fourth. Sarvagata Ukrainskyi rebounded off a poor day before to hold fifth, while the ever steady Surasa Mairer dazzled again with 60.9 and her fastest 2700 mile split. Eight days remain and should yield eight finishers and 12 happy souls as the racers move towards their invisible finish line.Beach days beckon…..
