Asprihanal Aalto ran 79.57 miles to lengthen his lead in the 3100 mile race to over 74 miles. A total of 10 runners ran 60 miles or better today, as rain continued to batter the Northeast.

Wow, Asprihanal, what an awesome effort! Your lead is unassailable. But looking at the next placings, Grahak is definitely a contender. It must be tough (well, derr) with all that rain around. From my experience, I’ll take relentless sunshine and hundred degree days over rain any day! But you can keep the humidity. That’s no fun, either. Weather-wise, New York truly has it all!
