In all, the first eight runners bested 60 miles again. Two-time finisher Sopan Tsekov from Bulgaria had to withdraw due to medical reasons after accumulating 1783.60 miles in 32 days. The mercury hit 92ºF with nary a breeze, and two more days of intense heat await.
