Now it is Time to Run

Now it is Time to Run

. . . Tomorrow Ashprihanal will be the first to finish this long epic journey. As a measure, of the champion he is, he ran over 72 miles yesterday. But he was not alone in posting big miles. Pranab and Grahak also ran more than 70 miles Sunday. The goal is not just in sight, it is just a few steps away.. . .

Too Good To Be True

Too Good To Be True

. . . Petr tells me that he ran with Ashprihanal last night. He says, “he was not pushing. He will have a great race.” It seems that Ashprihanal wants to run within himself, and wants to enjoy his last couple of hundred miles here. They both felt, that the one who pushes the most, is Pranjal. He is the first to arrive at the race in the morning, and the last to leave at night. Often he will take only one short break all day long.. . .

Give More to Get More

Give More to Get More

. . . Asprihanal, the man arriving here on his bicycle, has run the most miles in one day, since his first day on the 3100 mile course, 41 days ago. He ran just short of 77 miles on Friday. What makes this even more phenomenal is that it is almost 5 miles more per day, than he has run on any days since June 15th, a very long time ago. . . .

It Must Be God

It Must Be God

It Must Be God by Utpal:
. . . Within moments it seems almost futile to try and remain dry, when the rain itself is so relentless. But life at the race goes on. The clock rules and the minutes, still ticking away, have more power over the 3100 mile race, than all the drops combined . . .

Going Around in Circles as Always

Petr Turns 30

. . . Yesterday Christopher wanted to show me his wakeup hat, and today, he is very delighted to show me something even more impressive. A shirt he has just received from the Swiss disciples, who have signed it, and some have drawn pictures on it. He tells me, that it gives him such joy to wear it, and that he feels the energy and love, they put into it by signing it. No doubt he will not have to wear the wakeup hat at all today . . .

. . . To the tiny and tight community, which is the 3100 mile race, Petr turning 30 today, is a special and precious event. Everyone will wish Petr a sincere happy birthday as they arrive. He will not spend this day celebrating. He will do what he has done for the past 35 days, and run his best. The real difference today, is that the good will of brothers, friends, and comrades will be a buoyant and powerful force . . .

If you have Good Energy

If you have Good Energy

. . . It is a strange, yet wonderful experience, to come back to the race this morning. After being here for the start of the race, for 27 straight days, I had missed the last 7 days while visiting Canada. It feels like I have come home, and yet while everything looks so much the same, so much has changed as well . . .
